Novartis wins top Employer Awards in Nigeria and Ghana

Novartis a leading pharmaceutical multinational has won the Top Employer Awards for the 4th consecutive time in Nigeria and the 1st time in Ghana. The rivalry between the two nations is now a new dance.

Novartis was recognized for its success in pivoting the company work culture to suit the present and future of work, and in the process still enhancing staff morale.

Novartis has also been recognized as one of the “World’s 25 Best Workplaces” by Fortune.

Novartis was included in the Best Workplaces National Award Lists of Brazil, Canada, Chile, Spain and Turkey, with 93% of surveyed employees saying Novartis is a great place to work.

Culture eats strategy.

Novartis West Africa Head of Communications, Lola Ola-Adenuga recounted the quote by Peter Drucker – Culture eats strategy for breakfast. “Of course, this rings true now more than ever before. The future of work is changing and only organizations that drive the right culture will attract and retain the best talent.”

Lola added that “a clearly defined and great culture can boost employee morale. We value being ranked among the world’s top workplaces, as we consistently enhance our people’s work experience by transforming our culture to be more inspired, curious and unbossed.”

Novartis one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world has a purpose to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people’s lives. It also aims to use innovative science and technology to address some of society’s most challenging healthcare issues.
